Memes in Marketing
Memes are a great strategy when trying to market a service or product. Here are 4 reasons why that I found in the article, Memejacking: The Complete Guide to Creating Memes for Marketing ...
1) They're Already Viral
2) They Make Great Social Media Fodder
3) They Attract Traffic, Likes, and Links
4) They're Quick and Easy to Create
Memes, in my opinion, are like the ADs we see on TV and billboards. I say that because ADs are more likely to be remembered when the AD leaves a memorable effect on the audience. Either it is humorous, emotion striking or serious.
Visuals always seem to leave a higher impact than words. I believe the concept of memes can be turned into multiple meanings. That's why memes are so great for marketing. It's all about leading that idea to become the success that it already is. Social Media plays a huge factor in that because more individuals are getting their hands on different social media platforms. Which means more content is being shared among people all over the world.
