Productivity Software

Productivity software has made office work easier as the decades go by. The article,  An Overview of Office Software and Productivity Software , explains the growth since "desk set" computing.

In the article, they mentioned that productivity suites have made office-oriented tasks more productive, which I agree with. I agree because, on a computer, you can get more done as far as scheduling appointments/meeting, browse for information, and send emails. As of today, computers have added a program where you can receive your text messages straight to your computer.

Therefore, these types of computer applications have become very important to today's everyday productivity. My favorite productivity suites are the ones where you can apply add-ons. So instead of me having to download an app with a specific function, I can simply add it to my current program. Google is my favorite so far. They literally have an internet browser (Google Chrome) and an emailing system (Gmail). Google also owns youtube and other platforms as well. This is why I believe Google is the most popular and used productivity software.

I provided a video that explains 5 Microsoft Office Alternatives, in case you are not a Microsoft Office fan.
